A.G.E.N.T. stands for the Archival Graphics ideNtity Taskforce (the E is silent). And, much like a hungry horde of zombies, we need brains, and lots of them: for brain-storming and crowd-sourcing.
This work group’s task is to help identify features (e.g. people, locations, dates) on photographs in the Centre’s digital collection.
On these forum pages, we’ll create a new topic for each set of images that need investigation. Everyone is invited to examine the photos and then go sleuthing! Then take part in the discussion by Replying to the topic, sharing your comments, suggestions, clues, leads, positive findings, negative findings, research strategies, and so on. In this way, we can solve the puzzles together by learning what other researchers have found out.
Please make a special effort to note the source of any identifying comments you make. This is science, folks!
